Africa and Human Rights

About 854 million people - more than the combined populations of Canada, the United States and countries of the European Union - did not have enough to eat. More than twice the number of children in the United States were involved in child labour while abuse, poor education and disease affected more women globally than men.
while the September 11 2001 terrorist attacks killed 3 000 people, 6 000 people died daily in Africa from HIV and Aids, 7 000 died from malaria and at least 2 000 died of TB.
