Baha'i Education of Children

Among the greatest of all services that can possibly be rendered by man to Almighty God is the education and training of children.........., so that these children, fostered by grace in the way of salvation, growing like pearls of divine bounty in the shell of education, will one day bejewel the crown of abiding glory. (Abdu'l-Baha, Selections from the Writings of Abdu'l-Baha)

In the Baha'i Faith, Teaching of children is obligatory, to develop spiritual qualities, beliefs, and behaviors as an essential attributes of a spiritual being. Baha'i children classes put emphasis on learning to think, to reflect, and apply spiritual laws to the life of the individual and society.

Our children love going to children classes. They love the prayers, the songs, the stories, the games, the coloring, and their new friends! We also enjoy being teachers and parents.

"Blessed is that teacher who shall arise to instruct the children...." Baha'u'llah
