 إن تحرير المرأة هو مطلب مهمّ من مُتطلبات السلام، ولن يستقرّ المناخ الخلقيّ والنفسيّ الذي سوف يتسنى للسلام العالمي أن ينمو فيه، إلا عندما تدخل المرأة بكلّ ترحاب سائر ميادين النشاط الإنساني   شريكة كاملة للرجل   الجامعة البهائية العالمية

The Bahá’í writings state:

• Girls should be given preference over boys when educational opportunities and resources are limited.
• In Bahá’í marriage, neither the husband nor the wife has a dominant voice.
• Any apparent inequality between the capacities of women and men is due solely to the lack of educational opportunities so far open to women.

The foundation-principle of a school

What is the ideal school:

"These schools for academic studies must at the same time be training centers in behaviour and conduct, and they must favour character and conduct above the sciences and arts. Good behavior and high moral character must come first, for unless the character be trained, acquiring knowledge will only prove injurious. Knowledge is praiseworthy when it is coupled with ethical conduct and virtuous character; otherwise it is a deadly poison, a frightful danger. A physician of evil character, and who betrayeth his trust, can bring on death, and become the source of numerous infirmities and diseases.

Devote ye the utmost attention to this matter, for the basic, the foundation-principle of a school is first and foremost moral training, character and the rectification of conduct." Abd'l-Baha

Character of the Religious Person

For every thing, however, God has created a sign and symbol, and established standards and tests by which it may be known. The spiritually learned must be characterized by both inward and outward perfections; they    must possess a good character, an enlightened nature, a pure intent, as well as intellectual power, brilliance and discernment, intuition, discretion and foresight, temperance, reverence, and a heartfelt fear of God. For an unlit candle, however great in diameter and tall, is no better than a barren palm tree or a pile of dead wood.  (Abdu'l-Baha, The Secret of Divine Civilization, p. 33)

Thus, if no existing model proves to be satisfactory, we might well consider charting a different course, and perhaps demonstrate to the community of nations that a new, truly progressive approach to the organization of society is possible.

Egypt’s stature in the international order—its intellectual tradition, its history, its location—means that an enlightened choice on its part could influence the course of human development in the entire region, and impact even the world.......

That is why it is vital that we endeavor to achieve broad consensus on the operating principles that are to shape a new model for our society. Once agreement is reached, the policies that follow are far more likely to attract the support of the populations whom they affect.

Abdu'l Baha explained to the people of Iran in early 1900 the secret of Divine Civilization:

Other nations are  making every effort to improve their condition; we are trapped in our desires and self-indulgences, and at every step we stumble into a new snare. 

God is Our witness that We have no ulterior motive in developing this theme. We seek neither to curry favor with any one nor to attract any one to Ourselves nor to derive any material benefit therefrom. We speak only as one earnestly desiring the good pleasure of God, for We have turned Our gaze away from the world and its peoples and have sought refuge in the sheltering care of the Lord. "No pay do I ask of you for this... My reward is of God alone."[1]

Where the Light Shines?

The Baha'i temple in Chile is one of eight projects from around the world that received an award or citation in the program this year.

"For architects, it's the award that recognizes designs that go in a new direction," said Siamak Hariri of Hariri Pontarini Architects of Toronto, the firm that designed the house of worship and is overseeing its construction. Representatives of the firm traveled to New York last month for the awards ceremony.

In the Baha'i scriptures Baha'u'llah designates the houses of worship as gathering places for prayer and meditation, which in the future are envisioned to be the center of a group of buildings housing social, humanitarian, educational and scientific institutions.

The house of worship in Chile, like the others, will be financed entirely by voluntary contributions from Baha'is around the world.

*.. وكان متوسط دخل الفرد أقل من آلف دولار سنوياً ...

*الصراعات الدينية « 18 ديانة » هي الحاكم

*. هو الأبن الأصغر لتسعة أشقاء ...*

*والدهم مدرس ابتدائي راتبه لا يكفي لتحقيق حلم ابنه بشراء عجلة يذهب بها إلى المدرسة الثانوية

*عمل بائعا « للموز » بالشارع حتى حقق حلمه * ودخل كلية الطب في سنغافورة المجاورة ...

وأصبح رئيساً لإتحاد الطلاب المسلمين بالجامعة قبل تخرجه عام 1953

*.. ليعمل طبيباً في الحكومة الإنكليزية المحتلة لبلاده حتى استقلت » في عام 1957،

*فتح عيادته الخاصة * « كجراح » وخصص نصف وقته للكشف المجاني على الفقراء ...

*وفاز بعضوية مجلس الشعب عام 1964 ، خسر مقعده بعد خمس سنوات ،

*فتفرغ لتأليف كتاب عن « مستقبل بلاده الاقتصادي » في عام 1970 ...

* وتم اعادة انتخابه «سيناتور» في عام 1974 ...تم اختياره وزيراً للتعليم في عام 1975*

،عمل*مساعداً لرئيس الوزراء في عام 1978 ، ثم رئيساً للوزراء في عام 1981 ، كرر في عام 1981 ،

لتبدأ النهضة الشاملة التي قال عنها في كلمته بمكتبة الإسكندرية إنه استوحاها من أفكار النهضة المصرية على يد محمد علي ..

* فماذا فعل « الجراح العبقري » ؟

أولاً: رسم خريطة لمستقبل بلاده حدد فيها الأولويات والأهداف والنتائج ،

التي يجب الوصول إليها خلال 10 سنوات .. وبعد 20 سنة .. حتى عام 2020 !!!

ثانياً: قرر أن يكون التعليم والبحث العلمي هما الأولوية الأولى على رأس الأجندة ،

وبالتالي خصص أكبر قسم في ميزانية الدولة ليضخ في التدريب والتأهيل للحرفيين *.. والتربية والتعليم ..*...محو الأمية ..

*وتعليم الإنكليزية ..*وفي البحوث العلمية ..*كما أرسل عشرات الآلاف كبعثات للدراسة في أفضل الجامعات الأجنبية ..

ثالثاً: أعلن للشعب بكل شفافية خطته واستراتيجيته ،

*أطلعهم على النظام المحاسبي الذي يحكمه مبدأ الثواب والعقاب للوصول إلى « النهضة الشاملة » ،

*صدقه الناس ومشوا خلفه ليبدأوا « بقطاع الزراعة » ..

فغرسوا مليون شتلة « نخيل زيت » في أول عامين لتصبح بلادهم أولى دول العالم في إنتاج وتصدير « زيت النخيل » !!!

* في قطاع السياحة ..قرر أن يكون المستهدف في عشر سنوات هو 20 مليار دولار

بدلاً من 900 مليون دولار عام 1981 ، لتصل الآن إلى 33 مليار دولار سنوياً ..

و ليحدث ذلك ، حوّل المعسكرات اليابانية التي كانت موجودة من أيام الحرب العالمية الثانية

الى مناطق سياحية تشمل جميع أنواع الأنشطة الترفيهية *المدن الرياضية *المراكز الثقافية والفنية ..

لتصبح بلاده « مركزاً عالمياً » للسباقات الدولية في السيارات ، والخيول ، والألعاب المائية ، والعلاج الطبيعي ،

*وفي قطاع الصناعة ..حققوا في عام 1996 طفرة تجاوزت 46% عن العام السابق

بفضل المنظومة الشاملة والقفزة الهائلة في الأجهزة الكهربائية ، والحاسبات الإلكترونية.

* وفي النشاط المالي .. فتح الباب على مصراعيه بضوابط شفافة أمام الاستثمارات المحلية والأجنبية

لبناء أعلى برجين توأم في العالم .. بتروناس..يضمان 65 مركزاً تجارياً في العاصمة وحدها ..*

وأنشأ البورصة التي وصل حجم تعاملها اليومي إلى ألفي مليون دولار يومياً.

- وأنشأ أكبر جامعة إسلامية على وجه الأرض ،

أصبحت ضمن أهم خمسمائة جامعة في العالم ،

كما أنشأ عاصمة إدارية جديدة بجانب العاصمة التجارية التي يقطنها الآن أقل من 2 مليون نسمة

* ولكنهم خططوا أن تستوعب 7 ملايين عام 2020 ،

ولهذا بنوا مطارين وعشرات الطرق السريعة تسهيلاً للسائحين والمقيمين والمستثمرين

الذين أتوا من الصين والهند والخليج ومن كل بقاع الأرض ،

يبنون آلاف الفنادق بدءًا من الخمس نجوم حتى الموتيلات بعشرين دولار في الليلة !!!

- باختصار .. استطاع هذا الرجل المعجون من عام 1981 إلى عام 2003

أن يحلق ببلده من أسفل سافلين لتتربع على قمة الدول الناهضة التي يشار إليها بالبنان ،

*عد أن زاد دخل الفرد من 100 دولار سنوياً في عام 1981 عندما تسلم الحكم إلى 16 ألف دولار سنوياً ..

وأن يصل الاحتياطي النقدي من 3 مليارات إلى 98 ملياراً ، وأن يصل حجم الصادرات إلى 200 مليار دولار ،

فلم يتعلل بأنه تسلم الحكم في بلد به 18 ديانة ، ولم يعاير شعبه بأنه عندما تسلم الكرسي في عام 1981

كان عددهم 14 مليوناً والآن أصبحوا 28 مليوناً ، ولم يتمسك بالكرسي حتى آخر نفس أو يطمع في توريثه لأبنائه أو لأحد من أقاربه ...

- في عام 2003 وبعد 21 سنة ، قرر بإرادته المنفردة أن يترك الجمل بما حمل ، رغم كل المناشدات ، ليستريح تاركاً لمن يخلفه « خريطة طريق » و« خطة عمل » اسمها « عشرين .. عشرين » .. أي شكل بلاده عام 2020

والتي ستصبح رابع قوة إقتصادية في آسيا بعد الصين ، واليابان ، والهند.

- وهكذا تفوق « الطبيب الجراح » بمهارته وحبه الحقيقي لبلده واستطاع أن ينقل بلاده

التي كانت « فأراً » إلى أن تصبح « نمراً » آسيوياً يعمل لها ألف حساب !!!.

انه العملاق العبقري المخلص الماليزي
