Oct 17th - Blog Action Day - Poverty Day

أثناء دراستى الجامعية اخذت عدة جنيهات من خالي لتساعدنى على مصاريف الجامعة وتعهدت بأن أرد السلفة فور تخرجى وأستلامى أول مرتب. عندما تخرجت وقبضت اول مرتب، ذهبت الى خالى وشكرته علي مساعدته المالىة لى أثناء الدراسة وأعطيته المبلغ الذى أستلفته منه. شكرنى خالى وطلب مني أن أعطى المال إلى أي شخص أراه محتاج وأطلب منه أن يرده إلى شخص محتاج أخر وهكذا...تذكرت هذا الموقف عندما عرفت أن 15 أكتوبر هو يوم مكافحة الفقر...نعم لمكافحة الفقر

I remember my uncle who used to give me monthly allwance during my study at university. I accpted the many as a loan till I finish my school. When I started working and had my first salary, I ran to him and told him, I do appreciate your financial support when I was at school and would like to return the money back. He smiled and told me: "yes, you need to return the money back but not nesessary to me, give the money to a person in need and ask him to return it the same way you did". We all can take action on the 15th of October.
