Education of children

The goal of education, in our opinion, is to enable the children to express the latent talent and capacity they have and being active participant of building a civilized society. Children Education is not only gaining basic knowledge but include; mastering skills, practicing Virtues and building capacities. We need this education concept to be able to transform individual, family and society.

As Baha'is we believe "Regard man as a mine rich in gems of inestimable value. Education can alone cause it to reveal its treasures, and enable mankind to benefit therefrom" Example of the spiritual qualities are: truthfulness, love, unity, Justice, integrity, kindness, self-discipline, and humility.......

Finding the talent of each child and develop that talent is our daily task with our children. Currently we are teaching our children one virtue every week. This week virtue was Courage: Being brave, avoiding a fight, admitting your mistakes, facing your fears, and trying something new.

Family Consultation

Today, we consulted with our children on where to go this coming weekend. after short consultation, we where divided into two groups; group wanted to visit friends while other group preferred to go to the beach. We could not come to an agreement because we where equally divided. Good thing happen when one of the children said let us consult again. We consulted this time with one aim in mind; what is good for our family. The consultation went smoothly and the decision was to visit a friend who lost her sick father and show our support then go to the beach with the children. We were glad that our children expressed their opinion freely, respected others and gladly agreed with the final decision.
